Surfer's Paradise is a beautiful place known for its surf beaches and sunshine. If you are a surfer, the name says it all. If you are a photographer, Surfer's Paradise has many spots where you can shoot some amazing photographs. Depending on what you are looking for there are a variety of options for Surfer's Paradise photography. If you want an iconic photograph, take a boat out on the ocean, and snap all the sky-rises from the boat. This is beautiful in the day or night. Another great shot of Surfer's Paradise photography would be to go to the observation deck of the Q-1, Surfer's Paradise's tallest building, and take pictures from there. The view is amazing.

If taking pictures of people is more your thing, head down to Cavill Avenue, a district of shops, boutiques, and buildings. Here you will find a wide variety of people that would make interesting subjects for Surfer's Paradise photography. If you happen to be in Surfer's Paradise in November and December during "Schoolies" (a time when many high school students celebrate the end of school) you can photograph all the youth at their finest!

If you like to photograph art, Cavill Avenue is a great place for this as well, as street art is becoming quite popular there. Another iconic photo would be of the Surfer's Paradise Beach sign. This is an archway that spans the main entrance to the beach. Once on the beach, the turquoise waves and golden sand make for many more beautiful photographs. And don't forget to take a few photographs of surfers searching for the perfect wave. Boats in the distance also make for some great pictures. Once at Surfer's Paradise Beach, the lifeguards make for some great photographic subjects. The lifeguard stands reflected against the sun make for a unique photo as well.

If nature photography is more to your liking, Surfer's Beach is just the place for this as well. You can click a picture of the powerful waves crashing into the shore, the sun peeking out from a few scattered clouds, or gulls flying along the beach, searching for food. The inside shoreline of the beach is also dotted with lush greenery and palm trees, which make for beautiful pictures as well.

No matter they style or subjects of your photographs, Surfer's Paradise Beach is sure to give you plenty of inspiration and subject matter to keep a photographer, either professional or amateur busy for days!
